Chestnut mews
A collection of seven mews houses across a narrow brownfield site in London. The structure comprised timber roofs and floors over load bearing masonry, with steel beams and columns where necessary. With a National Rail site to the South boundary, along with made ground soils across the full length of the site, the project utilises a shallow foundation solution comprising a series of reinforced concrete raft slabs over engineered sub-base.
